Fred's Marinated Tuna Steaks

                           

This is what youll need:

6 oz. Yellow Fin Tuna steaks

cup Uncle Dougie's Chicken Wing Marinade

cup white wine

Tbs olive oil

Tbs butter

 

Marinate tuna steaks in marinade for 10 minutes.  Preheat skillet over high head and add olive oil and butter.  Drain steaks (reserve the marinade) and place into skillet.  Salt and pepper to taste.  Brown steaks on both sides, about 2-3 minutes on each side.  Once browned, add wine and marinade to the pan.  Cover pan and poach steaks over medium heat for 10-15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the steaks.  

 

Serve immediately with tartar sauce, cucumber sauce, and/or lemon slices.

Sol's Barbecue Shrimpies

The famous Sol of Minnesota!

 

This is what youll need:

lb uncooked shrimp, peeled and deveined

slices partially cooked bacon

Uncle Dougie's World's Most Dangerous BBQ Sauce

Mozzarella cheese slices

 

This is a great recipe for people that can't or don't like to cook!  

 

Place peeled shrimp in a baking dish, place Mozzarella cheese slices over shrimp.  Cut bacon strips into 3rds and place a strip of bacon over each shrimp.  This is where you need to play with the volumes so that you have enough bacon to go around!  

 

Cover the shrimp, cheese, and bacon with gobs of Uncle Dougie's World's Most Dangerous BBQ Sauce.  Bake at 400 for 15 minutes.

Julie's Tuna Casserole

This is what youll need:

cups Mrs. Grass No-Yolk noodles

cans drained tuna

cans cream or mushroom or cream of celery soup (mix or match)

cup milk

Uncle Dougie's Original Grub Rub

Uncle Dougie's Lil' Boom Hot Sauce

seasoned bread crumbs

                             

Cook the noodles, and drain well.  Mix the tuna, soup, and milk in a casserole dish.  Sprinkle the Grub Rub over the top, and then add several dashes of Lil' Boom around evenly.  Add the bread crumbs.  Bake at 350 for 1 hour.  

 

Serve immediately, and keep the Lil' Boom on the table for those that want a little extra flavor!

 

 

Uncle Dougie's Orange Roughy

 

This is what youll need:  

fresh orange roughy

Uncle Dougie's Chicken Wing Marinade

butter

 

Marinate the fish for 30 minutes in Uncle Dougie's Chicken Wing Marinade.  In a skillet, melt 2 teaspoons butter.  Place fish in hot skillet.  Cook approximately 7 minutes.  If desired, add a little bit of the Uncle Dougie's Chicken Wing Marinade to each side while they are cooking.

 

 

Linda's Halibut Steaks

 

This is what youll need:  

fresh halibut steaks

Uncle Dougie's Chicken Wing Marinade

butter

lemon juice

 

Marinate halibut steaks for 15 minutes in Uncle Dougie's Chicken Wing Marinade.  Put a little butter and lemon juice over the top of each steak and bake at 350 for about 7 minutes on each side.

 

 

Hot Dougie's Gills

 

This is what youll need:  

2 eggs

3-4 lbs Blue Gill, Crappie, Perch, or Walleye

1 18 oz.  bottle Uncle Dougie's Chicken Wing Marinade

Your favorite fish breading

 

Marinate the fillets for 10-15 minutes in 1/2 of the marinade.  Remove and drain.  Mix remaining marinade with eggs.  Dip fillets in mixture, then coat them with corn flakes, bread crumbs, cornmeal, or any other fish breading.  Deep fry for 5-6 minutes until golden RED HOT!
